Does anyone know a way to get an older version of CodeWarrior (like 6, which was at least OS X native), or even have one to sell? I didn't have much luck over on eBay, which is usually how I'd handle this.

(I just dug up a really old program I'd written, back in CodeWarrior Pro 5. After a bit of luck, I fixed the showstopping bug that really did stop all development about 7 years ago. After this bit of luck, I'm up for trying to finally Carbonize the program. However, all I have is CodeWarrior 5, the last Classic-only version. While I could move to XCode, I'd like to move in baby steps for now.)

Thanks a lot! It feels good to be working on Mac code again after all these years!

CW Pro 6 was "carbonised" but certainly not really very usable on OS X. I think most people agree that 8 was about the first version that was usable on OS X, and I'm not even sure if anything before that runs on 10.2 or later.

You might find it easier just to move entirely to Xcode...

Thanks. I guess for now I have enough things to work on besides, like:
1) Migrating away from custom CDEF's and MDEF's (evil!)
2) Migrating to the Appearance Manager and Navigation Services
3) Revamping the entire event model for Carbon

I wrote the whole thing myself, without a tool such as PowerPlant, so I have my work cut out for me.

(At the same time, there's an irrational part of me that wants to maintain my old System 7, 68K compatible version to run on the Mac Plus on my desk...)
