Hello,
Simple question, what were the default IE versions on Windows 2000 and 98SE?
Also, will those versions install on XP? I need to test some CSS with those versions.
Thanks

I think you're right. On my recent trip to Nandaihe, a place where all computers run Windows98 or, if you're lucky, Windows2000, I found that they all used IE 5.0 except the one computer with 2000, which had 5.5.
What was really smart was that, as part of their anti-hacker-security-control-system-thingy, it was impossible to update to 6.0.

I was under the impression that only IE 6 or higher could be installed on XP. That the OS would not let IE 5 or 5.5 be installed or something. I could be wrong though, and it's been a long time since I've been in the PC world.
