Hi, I been learning to use GoLive with Adobe's Classroom in Book and various other resources...
a few questions for the experts:
1. How do I get rid of the underline of text links? this one seems like it should be simple...
2. managing phpBB forums (thru C-Panel), how do I put a link back to my homepage or add my own logo on the main forum page??
3. How do I embed a pdf file on my website so others can download it?
thanks in advance!!

1) I'm not sure if your book covers the use of stylesheets, I'm assuming it does. You will need to setup a style for all 'a' tags (links). set the text decoration to 'none'.
2) Browse to the directory where your phpbb is located and find the file which contains the header info, open in golive (or text editor) and add your link. Sorry can't be more specific, haven't used phpbb in quite a while.
3) You wouldn't embed a pdf as such, you would just like to it like any other file or webpage. Windows users will see the pdf within their browser window (due to tighter Acrobat integration on Windows), however Mac users will just have the file downloaded, unless they have a plugin installed.

The file is in phpb/templates/subSilver/overall_header.tpl
(Change subSilver to whatever if you're using a different theme).
You can access it through cpanel with teh file browser tool.

What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.
