Just downloading it now. Anyone installed it over XCode 1.2? Any impressions?

There are some important fixes, like build style duplication, and I've been looking forward to a few of the new features such as dead code stripping, Subversion support, and the improved debugger. So, that's all good.

But, the UI is even worse. The build style inspector's drawer is replaced by a popup, so now to compare styles and add flags I'm constantly obscuring what I want to see with the popup. It was better with the drawer, even if the drawer was ugly. And the values for each setting still run on forever on one line instead of a nice expandable list like in PB.

And, now there's an editor in every little popup window. I want ONE EDITOR that swaps with the debugger, and all of the popups in resizable panes next to that editor. If that sounds familiar, it's because it was Project Builder.

Also there are a number of new resize bugs which I believe are due to the rework adding editors everywhere. For example you can't resize the project window to just the file list any more, which makes emulating single window mode even less possible. Or try zooming the Run Log window while your app is running, or clicking a file group with the details pane closed, then dragging the pane open. Stuff just doesn't redraw correctly...

Ugh, can Apple never set on one UI and stick to it!

There are now NSSplitView's everywhere, the whole table controlling movement thing was excellent, and saved much space (and ugliness).

Oh well, we should atleast be happy these tools are free .

a BT would be good... I just wish that Apple would allow a large download instead of in segments.
