I've decided to purchase an actual PC for testing Windows software I write with CodeWarrior on my Mac, because with VirtualPC I can't use remote debugging to step through the code. I'd like to hear from others using remote debugging of Windows code on a networked PC from an IDE (CW 8) running under OS X.

Does it work with XP Home, or do I need XP Pro?

With XP Pro, is it practical to access the PC via a VPN while debugging? I could save a lot of disk space if I didn't have to have a second keyboard and monitor.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
