Do search engines take into account domain names when they catalog sites?
My firm (same one as before), has pvarchitecture.com set up right now. they also own hawaiiarchitecture.com (not on any DNS's) and want to have it set to point to pvarchitecture.com The thinking is that it will help them get better rankings for anyone that searches "hawaii architecture" on google or something. I don't understand search engines all that well, but I don't think this is right. Anyone know how this works? And have any links I could show to the higher-ups?
Thanks.
