So I am a simple minded lad, and I have installed Movable Type on my website. I am using it solely for a journal, not a static site. Anyway, i want to customize my pages but I am a little confused. I know how to do it as far as going into MT, putting the code into the templates, etc, but what I don't get is the code itself. I am a little perplexed as how to put what where.

Anwho, anyone know of any really good tutorials for MT, or explanations or freeware templates I can study to figure out MT?

well if you are looking for changing the appearance and color of the site you can actually do that in CSS and using the tool CSSEdit

if you don't need to edit what elements display, just edit the css file to hide things and move them around as well as change the color and style of the elements.
