Hi,

I was wondering if there are any developers that use PAD (portable application distribution) to help with announcing updates? I just learned about it and it seems like a good thing. Or is this something that never took hold and is dead in the dust?

Any comments appreciated.

Hi,

I'm developing Renew (http://www.myndlinksw.com/renew.php).

I've got an area for developers to submit their MacPAD/PAD URL's, 20 applications have been submitted, and they are from about 13 independent developers. Eight or so of those were just added within a month and the link has been around for at least a year.

It's a really great idea, and it would work really well, but the majority of developers aren't hopping on the bandwagon, so...
