Hi,

I recently talked my Windows-only group at work into buying me a Powerbook as a new development environment, since we do almost exclusively Java programming.

Unfortunately, the very first project that came up since I got the 'book is heavily dependent on integrating automatic speech recognition. IBM ViaVoice was the first technology considered, but it looks like there is only a ViaVoice SDK for Windows, not Mac.

Any thoughts?

Sun has some stuff, but I can't remember if it's voice recognition or text-to-speech
signatures are a waste of bandwidth
especially ones with political tripe in them.
