Hello out there.. I am new to the new and exciting world of MAC and I was hoping there would be some nice people out there willing to help me. I have some "DUMB" questions. I am used to PC's but have found the MAC to be a challenge.

First off... you are probably not new to MAC, that is an acronym for a part of the ethernet protocol, and Windows computers have them too. Mac is short for Macintosh, and is not an acronym, thus not all-capitol.

Ok... now rather than asking whether you can ask questions... why not just get down to asking them?

We're here to answer your questions, but I've got to ask: are they about Web development on the Mac, or the Mac in general? This is the Web Developer forum on the MacNN boards, and we have a different forum for general questions.

By the way, as a quick note, many Mac users are somewhat offended by the "MAC" capitalization. You're new, of course, so it's not really a problem here, but you should probably stop typing it that way.
You are in Soviet Russia. It is dark. Grue is likely to be eaten by YOU!

In fact, neither Mac or Macintosh is, to the best of my knowledge, capitol at all, since (again, to the best of my knowledge) no state legislatures meet there
