I've always been involved in the web hosting business one way or the other. I'm starting a new venture. I purchased dedicated server, control panel software and such. I want someone to design my hosting site (somebody who knows mac because I like the style of simplicity shown by fellow mac users)

In exchange for you designing the site for "free" I will make you my business partner and we can host sites and sell web hosting. I was thinking of gearing it toward a certian genre, business, artists and such.

I want a designer that KICKS butt. I have all the materials needed to build the site, but I'm just to lazy to do the design. Is anyone here interested in partnering up? I would want the site done in a week!

If your interested let me know:

Some sites I like: (i want very clean design):
http://www.servint.com/vps/
http://mediatemple.net/
http://2advanced.net/
http://www.dinix.com/ (2 complex)
http://www.macminicolo.net/
http://www.imhosted.com/index-netscape.shtml
http://www.sitevalley.com/
http://www.switchmedia.co.uk/(very clean)

I would handle the server, and all the software, support sections and such, obviously you could host all your personal sites for free as well as discounted hosting to your friends. I just want a mac business partner for this, and I have lots of experience.

If anybody is curious or interested PM me or post here to just talk about hosting in general. Would love input. thanks.

I am not offering my services but just wanted to say as one that is on the internet alot I much prefer non-flash sites. You can have a great non-flash site and in the end that is friendly to both high-speed and ial-up users. Flash is also not very friendly to the handicapped browser from what I understand.

While I don't want to sound like a wet blanket, web hosting has got to be the most commoditized business out there. Are you sure you want to get into this?
I do not like those green links and spam.
I do not like them, Sam I am.

it's super saturated no doubt. I'm already way way into this through other companies. The new one is going to be pretty private offered to business in entertainment (where I have connections) and jsut a steping stone for other ventures.
