I post a new topic in this forum, coz I'm currently looking for someone who would have some experience on developing MAC drivers.
Since I work for a consulting company, and we have one of our customer (cant tell the name here) that needs to make one of their product working on MAC.
I thought that maybe some of you could have been interested.
Here's a small overview of the project:
There are two products that are used for sound effects, and DJ effects by musicians and sound engineers. They play all digital music files (wave, mp3, etc. ) and one also has analog inputs. They are currently connected to PCs with USB type driver. The products can connect to a DJ application that runs on PC and is quite complex: can do scratching, slowling down sound, etc.
There are two missions:
(1) develop the MAC MIDI and Audio drivers
We estimate this work to be quick 2-3 months…
(2) port the PC-based application from PC to MAC
This is definitely longer, and requires working on an application that was developed for PCs woth nor porting plan for Macinstosh, so perhaps little reutilizable code.
The work is based in Singapore.(but it's possible that we ship you the device, and then you work from your place/office)
Open source is not an option.
