While browsing the available plugins for jEdit, I installed one called "look and feel". Somehow it permanently replaced my default system look and feel to one of the ones it came with. Now any application that is set to use the default java look and feel (not Aqua, motif I think), uses this ugly one that came with the plugin. It must have set some sort of system preference somewhere... Is there any way to get it back?
Edit: In case this might be useful: I deleted the entire 1.5.0 directory in /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions and replaced it with a fresh one from my laptop. Didn't do a thing, still the same problem. However, get this, if I use the old version of java (1.4.2) to launch applications, they use the correct look and feel. I'm really confused and I've no idea where to look.
Edit2: A re-install didn't work. It must be set somewhere else...
