don't flame me!!1oneone,

I'm not just being a lazy git and avoiding JS but SOME of the interface elements in my widget I am making rely on flash. Specifically, I am making a widget that enables people to draw on a flash pad and upload the picture to an online database.

The widget works fine in safari, but under dashboard, mouse events are handled slightly differently it seems and my nice drag-to-draw (like in photoshop etc) flash application doesn't work like it is supposed to.

I have turned on AllowInternetPlugins and set the control region, so it's not that. I think it has to do with the way dashboard widgets track the mouse or something.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Apple's documentation doesn't help.

Cheers,
YF

Same here. But not for mouse events. I loose key events 2 frames into a Flash movie embedded in a widget. Has always worked fine in browsers or SA Player.

I guess Dashboard is interfering/not listening properly to Flash input methods.
