Hey,

I've written a very simple application in C that needs an intuitive way to configure the options. The application itself is finished, and will run as a service. All I need to do is provide a GUI that essentially only needs to edit a config file.

Do you know of any good tutorial that would provide the bare basics of GUI development on OS X?

As for your side note, look for a tutorial in the /developer/documentation directory that is called "Introduction to Developing Cocoa Objective-C Applications: A Tutorial" That should show you the basics of how to interact with Obj-C and IB. (Or just buy the Hillegas book)
