Hello all. I have a good idea for a program, but since I'm not a programmer I thought I'd suggest or ask someone else in the mac community for help.

I would like to see someone write a program that will sequentially choose every airport channel, sample the signal and noise levels, and when it's done, output those numbers via data, or if possible to a graph so that either the user could choose which channel is the best, or the program could even do it for them.

The reason I came up with this idea is because I've been having random problems with different airport channels due to intermittent noise and it takes so long to select each one by hand and then write all the numbers down in excel, graph them, and then make a decision, I'd like to see if it could all be automated.

Thanks!
Willis

Hi there,

If you want you can try to post your request at http://www.takethisdeveloper.com. Register as a buyer there (its free) and post a service auction and state your requirements. With luck you can get someone to bid for your RFP. Basically what takethisdeveloper is a emarketplace that allows service providers (developers) bid on project proposals stated through RFPs from buyers (people such as yourself). All work is done online through online collaboration tools such as message boards and shared file storage.

Hope that helps!

Regards
Dzul
