ok while messing around with phpnuke hosted on my home computer i created a user.
This sent an activation message to my e-mail address. and i got it!

I just want to know does the mac have an e-mail address? and what is it?
postmaster@mymac.local???

and if so is there anyway to use it in mail?

Your Mac has a mail server (two actually, Sendmail and Postfix), but in order for it to have a email address, you would need to have a domain name configured to send mail to your server.

If your sending mail from you home computer, you may be able to send mail to <username>@localhost, but I'm not sure.
