Hi I'm running Tiger and Safari 2.0 (412). A web site I have developed
looks totally blank when viewed in Safari. It also doesn't look great
on IE 5 on Mac, however if I remove the doctype declaration is works
perfectly in IE and all other browsers on the Mac including Opera,
Mozilla and Netscape but it still doesn't work in Safari. When doc
type declaration is set to XHTML 1.0 Transitional the page validates
on the w3 validator with no errors and the CSS is also 100% valid.

Here's the URL to the site and the CSS. I have set the doc type
declaration by to XHTML 1.0 Trans for now.

Site: http://www.dialogdigital.com/coiroster
CSS: http://www.dialogdigital.com/coirost...ts/mystyle.css

Can anyone offer any advice?

Why does your #horizon have visibility: hidden? If I take this out, things seem to work fine, but I'm guessing there's a reason you had it there?
You are in Soviet Russia. It is dark. Grue is likely to be eaten by YOU!

Hi,
#horizon is just a line across the middle of the page I used to help me centre the window on the screen. I set it to invisible now as I don't need to use it.

The problem is, setting that div to invisible is hiding everything inside it. Try leaving it visible, but setting the border-width to 0. This should accomplish the same effect, but without hiding everything.

Ah yes! You're work (but, of course!). It works perfectly now. Thanks for the tip.
