I recall seeing many websites, which, at the bottom, have an Apple logo. Clicking on it goes to the Apple website, and it sometimes says "Get a Mac" or "Made on a Mac." I know of the "Created using .Mac" logos, but what about these other Apple-centric banners? Are they technically allowed? I haven't found anything on Apple's site about using their logo on websites, other than copyright information (which generally states that you can't use anything Apple owns).
I wouldn't think that Apple would look down on it, since you'd end up promoting them, but I was just wondering if it was allowed. I kind of wanna stick an Apple logo on my website, at the bottom.
Any opinions/ideas?

Apple provides the logo in a font with their computers. They can hardly expect you not to use it.

Apple has made many banners of this type over the years, and I suspect that you've run into some older ones which are no longer officially offered by Apple but still supported. Their terms are pretty clear as to how they want them used, but the short version is that as long as you're telling the truth they're OK.
This said, Apple reserves the right to ask you to take any Apple banners off of your site, and they have done this once or twice. If they tell you to take the banner off, take it off. Otherwise you're OK.

I figure I'll just slap one on there. If Apple finds the site and tells me to take it off. Fine, I'll take it off.

The Mac Logo Program information can be found at http://developer.apple.com/softwarel...s/maclogo.html. It outlines how the logo can be used and in what context. There is no cost to use the logo as long as you meet their guidelines and sign a copy of their license agreement.
