Hello -
I know that in ProjectBuilder, there used to be an option to set the Get Info String (and short version) via Application settings. However, in Xcode 2, I am unable to find where to set them - the logical place, the "get info" on the the target, doesn't have this option. While I assume I could write it in by hand in info.plist, where's the graphical interface to it?

It looks like Xcode doesn't provide an easy way to set the Get Info String for native targets, but you can add a legacy target to your project by choosing Project > Add Target. Double-click the legacy target in the Groups and Files list to set the Get Info String the way you would do it in Project Builder. The downside of using a legacy target is that you don't get access to Xcode features like Fix and Continue and ZeroLink.

It's in InfoPlist.strings. You can just edit the appropriate line in that file.
