I've filed two bugs related to the iPod both are reproducible on every iPod Nano, both bugs now say "You do not have permission to view this bug". Why does Apple do this? Why am I punished for reporting bugs? Couldn't they at least acknowledge me or the fact that they found it to be a real bug rather than having a private conversation and blocking my access to see posts to it?


Anybody work for Apple or have familarity with this?

Are you looking at the bugs with the same ADC account you used to log them? Radar does not allow developers to see other developer's bugs, unfortunately.

If you can't see your own bugs, contact devbugs@apple.com and ask them what the current status is (and if they can allow you to see them again).

When I've asked in the past, they have said that this is "normal" as part of the "development cycle" or something along those lines.

Anyway, I won't get started on Radar and the absolute inadequacy of it for people external to Apple. I've made my feelings clear several times in the recent future.
