Authenticate My Application to Raw read hard disk on Tiger??

Hi all
  I am able to raw read the hard disk on Mac OS 10X but on Mac OS Tiger I am not able to raw read the hard disk it gives an error "Permissions denied".

How I can authenticate my application to raw read the hard disk on Mac OS Tiger.


Please give me some sample code so that i can authenticate my application to raw read.

I believe you will want to read up on Authorisation Services.
