Hi all.
My uncle just called me to ask this, and I had nothing, so I turn to the collective wisdom of the boards....
Can anyone recommend a good, reliable eCommerce hosting service? Something that will offer decent bandwidth, email addresses, all the php/mysql/cgi bells and whistles AND an e-shopping cart/paypal service?
He knows goDaddy offers this, but he'd like some other options and information.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers
Scott
PS
I know that there are threads about the merits of these various shopping cart packages, but I'm looking for the whole shebang.

I've written my own shopping cart system that uses MySQL and pushes out the total amount due to PayPal. If you are looking for something very streamlined and specialized for his needs, you might want to consider writing your own shopping cart system, and a host that supports PHP/MySQL.

I think they have hosting partners you can choose from, otherwise I'd pick Dreamhost as a hosting provider (just my opinion, but they allow adult content and their support is pretty good. Note I'm not saying you uncle is setting up an adult site, just that Dreamhost allows that "other" content, which is pretty rare in a host).
Hope that helps.

I've mentioned them in the past, but TJR Networks and Myacen are both good. As you are running an online business, definitely avoid super cheap hosts.
