Hey all! (first post )

I for a couple of months ago installed Xcode 2.0 (the version that came bundled with the Tiger DVD). I just recently noticed there were a 2.2 version available of Xcode so I thought I'd just update my 2.0 install to 2.2. Why run old software anyway?

So my question is: is it safe to install 2.2 over 2.0 or do I have to do some advanced uninstalling off 2.0 before I install 2.2?

Just run the installer. It's designed for this.

Actually there's a 2.2.1 release now.
20" iMac G5! :D AND MacBook 1.83GHz!

yes - it's safe to install new versions over old.
