I used Flash to redraw a pixelated logo ( I'm more familiar with the Flash drawing tools than Illustrator ), and then want to export the image, eventually as a gif with transperancy.

Exporting as a "gif with transperancy" gave me a messy white background.

Exporting as an AI file was also a little rough around the edges, and the colours weren't right.

The best result I managed to get was by screenshotting the thing, well actually the result was perfect, once I'd magic wanded the background away with Photoshop.

Surely there is a more formal technique to achieve a decent result ????
