I've found numerous text effects tools for Flash, but can't decide which one would actually be useful. I'm looking for something that will animate text and allow me to import that animation into an existing Flash file, rather than just generate a swf for me. What do most people use to do text effects? Are people actually doing custom action scripting and animating, or relying on third party tools to do the work?
On another topic, I've noticed when I publish files sometimes lines around text/objects are blurred in the exported file. If I double click on that text or object and then change the X and Y to be 0.0, the lines are crisp. Is this something that everyone goes through, or am I doing something wrong when I'm adding files to my stage/library?
