I feel like I'm overlooking something obvious here....

I have a "second" text menu that I want at the bottom of the page....

menu | menu | menu | menu | menu | menu | menu | menu | menu | menu |

......etc.

Thing is, if there isn't much content in the page that menu shows up half way down.

I can use a <table height = 560> or whatever, but that causes excessive scroll at smaller resolution, which would lead to me doing a resolution detection, then changing that height value with JavaScript.

Comments?

I'm a beginner but so far I have been told to use non breaking spaces if you want to create blank space.

You could use position:fixed and pin it to the bottom of the screen if you just want it always to be at the bottom of the screen.
