i'm completely new to the mac forums and wanted to get a general opinion on what application do mac users use? dreamweaver or web objects? i hear dreamweaver is a better application and easy to use... is this true?

also...for creating websites, what domain register and hosting company do most mac users prefer? in the past i've used godaddy and 1&1.

opinions welcome...

signed,

new macuser.

http://forums.macnn.com/79/developer-center/263346/web-hosts-recommendations/
a topic covering web hosting recommendations

since i code 96% of my sites in php i do not use a Wysiwyg program like those. But when i do use them for the small percent i code in html and to lazy to type it all myself I use nvu (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/15699) since it is free unlike dreamweaver and that way i do not have to pay for the few times i would of used dreamweaver.

Never used Web objects before so i can not say anything about it.

Dreamweaver is a WYSIWYG HTML editor. WebObjects is a set of libraries and tools for creating Web applications. They're not really comparable. It's kind of like doing Photoshop vs. Java.
