I want to put a table in my design. I know I know.

Here's the challenging thing I don't know how to do yet if it is possible.

I set cellpadding to 5 pixels. It looks good but only horizontally. Is it possible to change the vertical padding of the cells while keeping the horizontal padding?

Look at the padding properties for styles. You can put these into a style attribute of your table to adjust the properties via CSS.

<table width= 100%' style='padding-right:5px; padding-left:5px; padding-top:0px; padding-bottom:0px;'>

Make sure to not have any space between your number and the px for pixels or some browsers won't interpret the style correctly. Hope this works for you. You may wish to try it on a <TR> or <TD> tag if necessary.

Thanks for the help. I gave up on tables. I hate them.
