Dreamweaver MX won't load on intel iMac

hi,
anyone else having the same issue? i can't get Dreamweaver to start up on my new intel iMac. it bounces three times in the dock, beach ball spins and then it just hangs. do i now need to buy Dreamweaver 8 for the intel?

I have MX on my MacBook and 8 on my iMac, and both run, but yeah, slow as molasses. The update can't get here fast enough.

Works fine here. And despite others' reports, it is slow to open, but actual running speed is faster than my G4 PowerBook was.

I have MX running on my MacBook...launches in a single bounce, then takes about 10 secs to load fully, but the overall speed seems faster than my dual 1.2 G4.

My 8 works fine, don't notice much speed difference. Had to wait for MX to catch up with the latest update. No problems maintaining a site and the Up/Down manager.
