hi, folks. i'm so newb to mac development, and i need to write very very simple image viewer using Xcode and Cocoa. just open pic and view it. can u help me with with task?
i have no idea of using "setImage" and etc... thanks

I think this is documented and even has a sample app showing you how to achieve this. take a look at the samples provided with the developer tools.
