Hey, does anybody know a way to make a link play a sound when it is clicked? i've tried various code, but this only seems to work in internet explorer.

You would have to do it with either flash or javascript of somesort. Other standard web technologies generally don't support interactive sound...

I was writing a solution, when I stumbled across this:

change the mouseOver to an onClick, and you should be set. You'll probably need to preload.

But it does not work in Safari, only in IE on XP

It looks like it's designed to work with Netscape (and Mozilla/Firefox by association) and Netscape. With some work it can probably be manipulated to not care what browser is looking at it.
