Hey, just wondering how I could take something like a screen shot of a webpage so I could send it as an image to someone. I did it a while back, I think I made it into a .pdf somehow, but I can't remember how I did it.
Page was created in DreamWeaver and I'm working on a PowerBook, FYI.

Why not just display in in Safari, FF, or browser of choice and then use Cmd-Shift-4 to get cross-hairs and drag it over all - or just the part you want?

You could print the page as a PDF...

Paparazzi! google search for it, is the best app by far, it screenshots the entire webpage, works with password protected sites, lets you set resolution size, default image format, and is a universal binary. AND FREE

Snapz is the best osx capture tool, VLC's the best player... I couldn't live without either... seriously!

PDF X is an option, too.
I love the "save as pdf" feature of OS X. I don't think Windoze has it, natively anyway.

the problem with the print>save as pdf is that the background images won't be printed, that's a known problem with webpages (unless you checkk the option to print the bg images, which isn't turned on by default...)
Try printing this web page and you'll see.
That's why there are CSS for the print, and these will only optimize the printed version, not give you the same as the web version...
Paparazzi is a good choice!

I've just always used Grab in Apps>Utilities Select Window, silly me, lol. Paparazzi definently looks good, but I prefer for clients to be able to see what something will look like in a window rather than have it just be there.
