There is currently a small issue w/ world of warcraft on macs where if you play the game windowed or it terminates abnormally it can lose your Exposé keyboard settings (it disables them in-game).

It would be very convenient to either have an Applescript or quick-and-dirty cocoa app that could programatically change System Preference Exposé keymappings, so that when this bug happened I could just one-click restore them without having to manually reset them.

Anyone know if this is possible? I know the settings are stored in a .plist that could potentially be parsed and editied, but that would require logging in again to make it take effect and that's about as much work as manually restoring the keymappings anyway.

It is possible... somewhat. See for example this post:
cursor enlarging applescript? - Mac Forums
on how to change the size of your mouse pointer per AppleScript.
Or here, on how to change the Keyboard shortcut for Spotlight:
Todd Ditchendorf’s Blog » Blog Archive » AppleScript: Change Spotlight Keyboard Shortcut

Essentially, you're telling AppleScript to do click-by-click what you'd do with your mouse. The problem begins when you have to explain to AS what exactly you try to click on. My dream is an AS that changes the right-click behaviour of my MightyMouse, but alas, I don't know how to change the value of that Menu within the pop up button. You might have a similar problem there.

I'm sure there is a way and would like to know. And will let you know if I find out how.
