I always seem to run into problems when I try to download something over a couple 100 megabytes from apple. I can get about half the file or more, but the download always gets interrupted and I end up with an incomplete download that i can't restart. Any good ideas of how to get around this?

You could try a download utility such as Speed Downloader perhaps.

I usually copy the link ADC generates and use an FTP client like Transmit to get the file. Transmit can resume if the transfer is interrupted.
