ok, I was thinking about a little app called iGrip (it doesn't exists yet) but it's about a finder plug in or something that works when you open a window, it start arrange every window one near the other and you can always see all of your windows at the same time and not having windows under or on top of others, its a nice way to see all your windows and if you want to work on one you just click like in exposé... it is possible to biuld an app for that or I'm in the wrong forum as always! iGrip idea

it could, I think if you open a doc will get smaller if it's not the active application, if the active application is in front it force the others to shrink. get my point?

There is an X11 window manager called wmii that does exactly this sort of thing. It sounds hard for a third party to shove onto Aqua, though, unless somebody has much better CoreGraphics knowledge than I do.
