I just purchased a Behringer FCA202 firewire audio interface to get away from the noisy audio on my Powermac G4. It uses the default Core Audio driver so it's plug and play. However, I cannot cannot change the volume or mute. How difficult would it be to write a driver that would overide the default driver and add these features? My audio monitors do have volume control but they are not easy to reach. I would like to control the volume from the keyboard.
