Hello,
This may be an FAQ, but I haven't been able to find much info in this or other forums.

I'm writing a Java app that will capture and play back audio and video. What's the best software platform for this? After evaluating JMF (dead, and windows-only anyway) and others, it seems like QuickTime for Java is my best bet. Is this a good choice? Are there other better ones?
