Something on my mac is using a port I need to use.
I can't find the program nor does restarting remedy this.

Anyone have any suggestions?
I am thinking I need to use some terminal commands to remove free up the port somehow but I can't find anything with quick google searches of my own for the proper commands.

lsof -n -P | grep <portnumber>
will at least tell you what process is listening on the port of interest.

Well it worked to show what is using it.. Oddly enough nothing is using it besides terminal (I think)
Mac-Os-X-Home:~ me$ lsof -n -P | grep 80
Terminal 13619 me 6r unix 0x031b5180 0t0 ->0x0319b9e0
Terminal 13619 me 7w unix 0x0319b9e0 0t0 ->0x031b5180

I am sure if I could close terminal and run the command it would show nothing.

Maybe I should work on figure out how to get my new apache to work with my macs auto start system and use that instead. I bet that could be the issue if it is trying to start apache when it can't.
