I have many backups of the physical MySQL data folders and files, but I don't know how to extract the actual databases from them to put into a running MySQL server. Any ideas how to do this?

Thanks!

Move the 3 data files associated with each database into the active MySQL datadir, make sure permissions are set appropriately restart MySQL.

In the future, if you are looking for an easier way to backup MySQL data, check out the "mysqldump" tool.
