Have you tried Preferences->Settings? Lots of color schemes to choose from, but this may not be what you mean.

Yes, I tried this but it is not really what I am looking for. A thinner boarder or even a boarder less Terminal window would be already great! Is there a way to remove the boarder ?

I used this method, and I came across the setting "Pro" which I am very fond of. The only thing is, it only opens up using this setting on startup. Is there a way to have every new window open this way besides: (Shell->New Window->Pro) ? Thanks!
