MacNN Forums have an archive board for old posts; on the forum I am in the process of setting up, I would like to do exactly the same with a couple of old forums I have wgotten off the web when they were still up.

The guy who used to run the one forum is dead, and the ones who used to run the other two have disappeared, so I don’t have the databases, just big fat folder hierarchies full of threads.

Obviously, I am not going to rebuild thousands of threads with hundreds of thousands of posts in them manually, so I could use some advice on how to accomplish this feat.

Thank you berry much.
