Hey Everyone,

I'm taking over development of a project, and I was wondering if there's an easy way to convert this existing AS Studio project to a Document-Based AS Studio project? I mean, without manually moving files from the current project into a new Document-Based one. I'd like the program to use its own preferences.

There's no fundamental difference between the two kinds of projects. They just give you different boilerplate. To my recollection, the primary differences are that a document-based application includes a CFBundleDocumentTypes entry in its Info.plist and it comes with an NSDocument subclass and corresponding nib set up for you.

Problem solved. I didn't even need to bother with it being a document-based project. I thought that it was required for saving application preferences, but it's not.
