I want to rename them into : NAME001, NAME002, .... NAMExxx.
A custom filename follow with a number as they are dropped in.

Ok I made something like that for a random startup screen app. I'll give it a shot when I have a chance and post back here.
If you want them to be renamed as they are dropped in, you realise it will have to be a folder action?

No problem, thats what I'm here for
Um... I just learned it by mucking around with it... never looked it up before... anyone have any suggestions for sites?
A folder action is a script that executes on certain actions.
You 'attach' a script to a folder. For example, the action may be 'when new item dropped in, do this...' and when a new item is dropped into the folder, it will execute; however, if the folder is simply opened, it will not, get what I mean?
I'll try it out now
