OK. I learned how to build a site with the Adobe web collection (including GoLive 5.0, Photoshop 6.0). My question is this: when I've built the site, what's the best way to upload it to my iTools/iDisk? I'm just thinking in terms of the free web space that mac.com gives me. If all of my site components are in one folder, can I just copy that folder to my "Public Folder" on my iDisk, then locate the homepage or index.html, and link to that in order to publish it?
Thank you for any help...

Unfortunately, yoou're not going to be able to use the built-in ftp client in Golive to update your iDisk site. However, updating it still is pretty straight forward:

1. Connect to your iDisk
2. Open the "Site" folder
This is where all your HTML stuff should be parked. To illustrate: when you type in the url to your site (http://homepage.mac.com/yourname) this path actually is aliased to the Site folder in your iDisk.
3. Open the folder in the Finder that has the copy of your website on your local machine.
4. Select ALL the files in that folder and drag/drop them to the Site folder in your iDisk.

That should do it.

Thanks! I've been toiling over this for a few weeks now. I'm not so concerned (any more) with WHERE to put the site, but how to access it...or, rather, which "http://..." address to use. I'm sure it goes as follows: http://homepage.mac.com/quigonjinn/sitename
I think that will work.
Now, as far as editing it, I'll just treat the site like any folder on my hard drive, right? I think so.
