I've got a Flash question from a Flash newbie. I'd like to make a kind of inverse-burning fuse: as the little fuse "burns", it reveals a line-path so that at the end it's drawn a picture. Is there an easy way to do this? Could I animate the fuse-burn itself as it moves along the path? (very simple animation there) I'll want at least 10 or 12 lines onscreen at once, so I'm looking for the simplest solution. Ockham's Razor and all that..

Thanks

Just make a movie clip of the burning, frame by frame, exactly how you want it, then drop as many of them in the main movie as you want.

The burning isn't the hard part. Or at least, it isn't the part that presents the most challenge. When the fuse moves, I want it to leave a line-path in its wake, as that line (along with the others) will make an image. You can hide the tween-path. You can leave the tween-path. But can you reveal the tween-path as an object moves along it? That's what I'm trying to figure out..

Just copy the motion guide ( tween path) and put it on another layer below the animation. then when the fuse burns away, you will be able to see the copy of the motion guide.
