I'm trying to write A very custom MP3 player for myself in REALBasic. And the on source of help I can find is some kid I know online who uses RB, but at this point in time, I probably know it better than he does. I can't find any sort of forums or anything online to help me. It is so ****ing frustrating. There is almost NO help for RB at all. The learn site is filled with a few example projects, not helping me at all. Many don't work. The built in reference is anything but complete. If anyone that reads this knows real basic well, and wouldn't mind me leaching much knowledge off you, IM me: l008com

Main problems at the moment:

I Need to read ID3 tags..NoaFex's PLug either doesn't work, or I'm using it wrong, I get some sort of "Can't read library" error.

I Need to Pause (not stop) a song playing in a QT player, and resume.

OK scratch the pause one, I figured that one out, now its just the Reading of the ID3 tags that is illuding me. I tried opening a few MP3's data fork's and even though they are all version 2.3 tags, that all seem to be in a different format, i don't think I cna write my own 'reader' for them.
