Hello,
I am beginning a project on Source Forge and I will be using OS X as my primary development environment. I was wondering if any developers out there have gone this route? I would like any advice you might have, especially since Source Forge doesn't seem to work with my CVS or SSH.
I will spare you all from hearing my plug for my project, if you are interested, post below or e-mail me..
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. when I run "cvs import (dir) vendor start" it says:

cvs [import aborted]: cannot exec: No such file or directory
cvs [import aborted]: received broken pipe signal

Does that have something to do with the version of ssh in 10.0.4?

Sounds like your CVS_RSH environment variable is not set correctly. If you are using tcsh, try this:

setenv CVS_RSH /usr/bin/ssh

Of course you'll probably want this variable set all the time, so put it somewhere like ~/Library/init/tcsh/environment.mine. Also I think SourceForge only supports ssh protocol 1, so you may want to edit ~/.ssh/config to try protocol 1 first. I'm not sure if this makes a difference.

Note that you might encounter problems with the SSH shipped in 10.0.4, but you can roll your own and that should work.

I develop on two OSX-related projects on SourceForge (GNU-Darwin and Fink), without any problems.
