[This Wagon Train of Death]

hello,

in some respects i have just started out in programming. while im good at art and writing storyboards i have my goals set on these two apps. Of course as a cruel twist of irony i would only make them for Mac OS 8- Mac OS 10 and Linux. I have realized these are the right platforms cause i want them to be. anyway, your welcome to steal my idea's if you a bastard but if your not do you mind giving me a list of books to read for all this? the net has shown me a bland way of coding.

First, calling someone a "bastard" isn't the best way to introduce yourself and ask for help.

That rude comment aside, what's so bland about the information on the Internet? Perhaps you haven't looked around enough or in the right places. Try Cocoa Dev Central or StepWise for starters. The Vermont Recipes tutorial is an introduction to building an interface. Also, OmniGroup lets you use download and use their frameworks for free and has mailing lists (and online archives) for developers. Of course, there's also Apple's Sample Code and Getting Started pages.

I'd suggest you start small with some simpler programs to get your feet wet before you start on this much larger project you seem to have in mind.

Poor english and/or typos aside, I don't think Train of Death was calling anyone a bastard.
