Which is a good development environment? How about RealBasic? How is its performance?
Any comment?

Ok, so this is going to sound like an echo, but I think Cocoa is a great environment to be learning in.
When you're learning to program, you learn a lot of your long-term habits from your first big language. If you have a good language and toolkit to start with, you'll likely end up a better programmer.
Objective-C is simpler and purer than Java, and teaches you better lessons for the future. Meanwhile, both Java and C are better than C++, or (in my humble opinion) any variety of Basic.
And if you know any version of C, you'll be more employable than knowing a variant of Basic.
ps - Apple's development tools for Cocoa are free. RealBasic costs money.

RB doesn't teach you terribly bad programming habits, in general. It is really useful for getting into objects.
But RB is buggy as sh*t, slow, bloated, the apps it produces are at least 1mb for no apparant reason, and it just in general sucks. Oh, and REALsoftware are pretty lame too. Also, Lorin is an idiot.
